Jersey Boys Plot Summary

Jersey Boys is inspired by the true story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons who were just four ordinary boys from Jersey. But they had a sound that would take over stages and radio stations with legendary hit songs like "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Oh, What a Night", "Bye Bye Baby (Baby Goodbye)", "Will You Love Me Tomorrow", and "Sherry". Jersey Boys is a musical that features all these memorable numbers, so it would be hard to stand still in your seat. The book is smart and enchanting, telling the story of the four Italian-Americans who originate from the non-posh part of New Jersey. The musical presents the story from four unique points of view to spice things up. Biographical and inventive, the play arrived on Broadway to delight musical fans longing for a pleasurable night at the theater. Directed by Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff, with a book by the fabulous Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, and choreography by the experienced choreographer Sergio Trujillo, Jersey Boys is a show you'll regret missing. Playing in New York, London, and Sydney, this musical is a Tony Award-winning phenomenon that travels around the world to entertain international audiences. No wonder that Susannah Clapp from The Guardian writes, "The soaring sound of the Four Seasons makes for a sharp jukebox musical, if not a smash hit." Book your ticket and enjoy it first-hand.
